Probate Filings

Standard Forms

Many probate matters require standardized forms approved by the Council of Probate Court Judges of Georgia. Petitioners are responsible for using the most current version of each required form.

The Probate Court has limited jurisdiction and may only hear matters specifically authorized by Georgia statute. Matters outside of probate jurisdiction must be filed in the appropriate court. Filing a petition does not guarantee that the Court has authority to hear the matter.
